Scunny Eats is an  on-demand delivery service, specializing in seamless pickups and delivery from our network of partnered stores and restaurants to your doorstep throughout North Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.

How Does Scunny Eats Work?

With Scunny Eats, ordering from your favourite takeaways and restaurants in your area is a breeze! Simply enter your postcode on our website, and we'll instantly display the available options near you. Don't worry if there aren't any options listed for your area yet - you can simply fill out a request form, and we'll work on expanding our services to your chosen town or city.

Once you've entered your postcode, you can select the specific takeaway  or restaurant from which you'd like us to collect your order. In most cases, the locations we collect from will have their full menu displayed, allowing you to easily add items to your basket and proceed to checkout.

During the checkout process, make sure to provide the correct delivery address. It's important to double-check the accuracy of the address since changes may be challenging once the order is placed. For your convenience, we only accept card payments, ensuring a swift and hassle-free transaction.

After you've placed your order, it will be promptly dispatched to an available driver. If there is a slight delay in processing your order, rest assured that we have received it. This delay may indicate a busy period, but you can keep track of the progress through our live tracker for real-time updates. For orders placed with our partnered restaurants, your order will be sent directly to their kitchen, where they will begin preparing it right away.

How is the food delivered?

At Scunny Eats , we take great care to ensure that your food remains hot and fresh throughout the delivery process. Once the driver collects your order from the restaurant, it is securely placed in hotbags. These hotbags are specifically made to preserve the temperature of your food, keeping it as hot as possible during transit.

We understand the importance of enjoying a hot and satisfying meal, and our hotbags play a crucial role in maintaining the optimal food temperature until it reaches your doorstep. Rest assured that every effort is made to deliver your order in the best possible condition.

How secure are the payments?

Very secure, we use Stripe and PayPal to process payments. The debit/credit payment process is handled by Stripe and we don’t see or indeed store any of your card details. So rest assured the payment system is very secure!

How do I know you have received my order?

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming your order details. Additionally, you can track the progress of your order through a live tracker available in your account area. This allows you to stay informed about the status of your delivery in real-time. Rest assured, we strive to provide you with clear and transparent updates to ensure a smooth and reliable delivery experience.

When will you be delivering in our area?

Can I cancel my order?

It is possible to cancel your order if you wish so as long as the restaurant has not yet begun preparing it. To cancel, please reach out to us via our live chat feature on our website. We will be available to assist you promptly.

However, please note that if the restaurant has already started preparing your order, we are unable to cancel it on your behalf. At that stage, the cancellation becomes challenging due to the restaurant's workflow. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

For timely cancellations, please contact us as soon as possible through our live chat. Our team will do their best to accommodate your request within the necessary time frame.

What about allergies?

To ensure your dietary requirements and allergies are properly communicated to the restaurant, we kindly ask you to clearly note them in the designated section of your order. This will allow the kitchen staff to promptly identify your specific needs when preparing your meal.


My order has not been delivered and it is past the waiting time.

Before reaching out to us, we kindly request that you first check the live tracker for updates on the dispatch status of your order. If the order has not yet been dispatched and you require further information, please contact the restaurant directly to get an update on the order. If you can’t find a resolution then please contact us via the live chat.

Can I order and pick up myself?

Yes you can pick up orders from selected restaurants.

Can I place a pre order?

Yes, you can jump the queue and place a pre order as the site is still open while restaurants are closed.

Is there a minimum order value?

Yes, it is £10.
